In this dynamic, interactive full day programme, delegates are taken step by step through:

• Building a Winning Team;
• The Fundraising Cycle;
• Methods of Fundraising;
• Legal Restrictions;
• Sources of funding;
• Writing Successful Grant Applications

At the end of the session participants will have a clearer understanding of how to build the capacity of their organisation in order to effectively attract and manage funds as well as developing their own personal capabilities.

The later part of the day looks at how to work within the guidelines of the institute of fundraising and how to submit a successful grant application form.
Workshops are normally led by our Senior Consultant, Amal Douglas, who is a member of the Institute of Fundraising and has been a consultant on successful applications to: Heritage Lottery Fund, Awards for All, Arts Council, Local Network Fund, Blackstone Foundation, Acorn Grants, Connexions, Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), Local Councils and many others, as well as raising private finance for commercial ventures.
